Yep, they're stalling making a decision on the River Conservation District. Now they have a workshop/meeting planned with the Planning Commission. Must be an Election year.. Oh Yah!
Rushing is not going to do anything unless it's the way he wants it, not what's good for the township. Hazelton and Titus goes right along with him, while Belesky and Waddy can't do anything with only two votes, their hands are tied.
So, the stall continues.. wanna bet it's not settled before the Election?

If Dave and his cohorts are not going to be doing anything new with the election coming this year, let's remember what he has already done:
Eliminated the topography ordinance causing a possibility of improper drainage for new construction and poor water runoff which could harm our river and roads.
Stopped a new road ordinance that could have helped to control haphazard growth in the community.
Refuses to acknowledge that there can ever be a "conflict of interest" for those on the board, regardless that votes are made by him and others that directly affects their properties.
I'm sure that there are others. Can anyone think of more???
Yes, it is an election year. Can anybody name one good thing that Rushing has done for Riley Twp? He is just another politition in it for his own self interest. BUT!!! the biggest mistake I made was voting for Al Titus. He is the most useless person on the township board. Go watch him in action, he can't even think for himself, Rushing does all the thinking for him. It's like having two Dave Rushing's on the board!!! Like I said, IT IS AN ELECTION YEAR
Finally!!! It's an Election year and time to vote in a new supervisor who doesn't think they own the township and that it's their own personal playground. Ever notice how Rushing is always saying my or "I" when talking about anything regarding the township? Let's take his toy away and elect someone who really cares and will watch out for it's people.
