Okay folks, sorry for the delay in responding, been out of town and busy with the garden. Didn't know so many people were interested in my blog. Well, I had a lot of comments to publish and it seems some people were getting upset because they weren't published immediately. Particularly the anonymous writer who won't give their name and likes to make accusations and spread rumors about others. Actually, it sounded kind of personal to me.
Oh well, guess a lot of people have something to say, or an opinion and in some cases UN-truths.
Yeah, I've been here a long time too, and I know alot of people too, and the rumors you are trying to spread are really low. And no I'm not a coward, you will be heard, but so will I.

It must be an election year. People sure are taking offense quickly to a simple posting. For the record, I thought your July post of the Township meeting was succint and accurate. I wonder how many of the others even took the time to keep informed either in person or talking to those that were.
The accusation against the prior supervisor and his wife retiring is getting real old. Those familiar with Riley know that an audit is done every year by independant auditors. Never has any money come up missing or unaccounted for. If anonymous cannot prove their allegation let it rest. If they can, please provide facts. It is never too late for a criminal investigation or a libel lawsuit depending on the outcome.
Lastly, I also heard of instances where the current "good old boys and one woman" placed their sign with all 4 candidates on property throughout the township without the owners permission.
Perhaps the current election cycle can be completed without lies, innuendo and false inferences. Honest campaigning would be a good start.
Dave Rushing has been supervisor for 4 years and is only in it for self interest. He has done NOTHING for Riley Twp. Let's give Kitty Slamka a try. WARNING!! If you vote out Dave Rushing, Al Titus has to go cause he won't know how to vote on board actions.
I'd like to comment on some of the other comments on this blog site. One of which, I haven't seen any negative remarks about the current supervisor, only REAL TRUTHS. So, I will surely vote for Kitty Slamks for township supervisor. Besides, I've met her several times at Memphis Drugs, where she use to work, and she's very friendly and quite knowlegable. Kitty will be a great, needed change for the township.
